NMHL BOARD MINUTES OCTOBER 6, 2007, 5:00PM

All associations were present, the Soo declined to show this year hoping for next year, new members, Gladwin and Tawas.

 

1.     The change in the first paragraph of our by-laws was approved.

2.     extra banner for Midgets was approved, Greg and Sarah will order

3.     Greg Spencley did a great job on the web sight, www.nmhl.org we may need to look into paying him for his efforts he spent a lot of time on trying to make it easier for everyone.( Thanks Greg)

4.     New members, Gladwin joined and Tawas sent 3 team. Tawas sent three individual checks to Doug G.

5.     Doug was not here so we did not have a balance sheet

6.     Scheduling will be at 6:00 for all members tonight

7.     November 3 at 6:00 will be the midget B and BB scheduling in Gaylord with me at the Sportplex. Please tell them to be there.

8.      We missed talking about if teams sign up for a tournament and try to ditch someone for their ice. This is NOT ok with the NMHL. You must play your games in the league that you scheduled for first.

9.     We separated the Squirts in to the American League and the National League.

10.                         We have 14 Squirt teams, 10 Peewee teams, 8 Bantam Teams and a possible 4-6 Midget B and up to 6 Midget BB

11.                        The girls want to be in the league. We think that is great. A manger from Cheboygan will get the girls organized and report back to us.

NEXT meeting I believe is December 1st at 6:00 at the Sportsplex in Gaylord. Is this correct are we meeting on Saturday’s.? Please bring your game Log sheets for every team in your association.
